After my first trip to Thailand, I knew I wanted to travel. But it took time and money and planning to make that dream a reality. Was it easy? Absolutely not. But the best things in life never are.
Life is filled with strangers who shape our lives, both good and bad. All the people you meet leave a piece of themselves with you. And often you don’t realize it until much later on. More often than not, it’s the people – not the places – that shape us the most.
Whenever I talk to people about long-term travel, they tell me they wish they could do what I do. They tell me all their travel dreams, then they come up with common excuses as to why they can’t realize them. So today, I just wanted to say one thing: travel is easier than you think.

Sometimes I think “maybe I need a break.” Sometimes I feel like I’m over it all. Sometimes I’m just bored with travel. Then along comes something like this video and I am refreshed, renewed, and re-inspired all over again.
