Matt, maybe you could include a category for ‘perpetual’ I’d fall into flashpacker with my dSLR, computer and i-toys & hopefully not too much of ‘the remember when’ type. Which of these categories do you find most annoying personally?

We’re with Lissie on this one!

We’re a cross between the couple, the flashpacker and one you missed: the adventurer (the kind that goes beyond Everest Base camp, hikes off tracks and camps alone in the wilderness).

Our main stomping ground is Indonesia and Asia – and of course, Australia.

Can’t hack the party-party-party crowd (would rather have a good night’s sleep), but won’t say no to some fun and beers. Will stay in hostels, but in private room.

And I too would love to know what FOAD means.
