Yes, I agree with you. I was never in Salisbury. I was in Cambridge, Oxford, London, Brighton and more, but never there.
And with just a tiny bit of scaffolding, even. A rare sight indeed

Salisbury Cathedral is lovely inside too (much more interesting than the cathedral in my hometown of Chichester – which is still pretty good).
The cathedral green and the whole of that part of central Salisbury is well worth a trip IMHO.
I’ve been so homesick for England lately… this photo cheers me right up!
