2 years ago, i had exactly the same feeling about bangkok, chaos, endless traffic, polluted … and now I’m back in bangkok after 1,5 month living in hanoi with its crazy motorbike n quiet night scene .. bangkok seems like a very civilized city, love it!

I just posted about Bangkok because we are one of the few that just felt mediocre about it. We didn’t love it, we didn’t hate it, and we couldn’t figure out its personality. We were there for 8 days and just didn’t get it. But, I have heard from so many other people that they love it so it might just be our aversion to big cities, in general.

I got to agree with you. First impression of the place is not that good but it is a good one when we know it better.
