Get a Free Trip to Alaska

By Nomadic Matt | Published December 1st, 2011

glacier bay alaskaLast year, I become a G Adventures Wanderer in Residence. Essentially, along with a few other bloggers, I became an official blogging partner of the company. I was very excited because back in 2003, I took a trip to Costa Rica and it forever changed my life. It gave me the travel bug and set me on the path that put me here. And the trip was with G Adventures so they hold a special place in my heart.

As part of the wanderers program, I get a bunch of free trips but, since I love to give away stuff (see July’s 350,000 airline mile giveaway), I think if I get free trips, you should get free trips too. That’s only fair right? So G Adventures and I are teaming up to give away a free trip to Alaska. I went to Alaska many years ago and I found its scenery breathtakingly beautiful. I saw whales, dolphins, whales killing dolphins, bald eagles, glaciers, icebergs falling into the sea, and so much more. Alaska is a beautiful place. Since G Adventures is just starting tours there, I figured that it would make the perfect place to send someone.

What Do You Win?

ooo. This is fantastic!! *cross fingers* I would love to take my boyfriend along on this trip too if I won!

Awesome! Alaska is one my favorite states. Got to go there 2 years ago.

Thanks so much for teaming up with G Adventures in order to offer such an amazing trip to us all! Happy Holidays Matt. ;-D

But… I don’t have Facebook! This is no fair.

Neither do I. :( Too bad there’s not an alternative like Tweeting or something.

Facebook is really easy to get. Just sign up for it. Its quick.

Yes it is very easy to sign up. I had an account for a very long time, from when you had to be a student to join. I have a lot of issues with how the site is run and the lack of privacy and control. Not to mention the waste of time it is.

Happy Holidays Matt! This is very cool. What an amazing trip! Crossing my fingers until the 14th. Happy travels!

This is awesome. Matt is ‘da man’! No FB here either, so I cannot enter.

Good Luck to all who entered!

Course I’m a fan of your site and Gadventures on Facebook. – But the form isn’t working :(

Form looks to be working fine.

Oooh this would be amazing! I too, started on a single trip many years ago… and have yet to settle! Fingers crossed, Alaska is high on my list! Thanks for the opportunity! :)

Pick me, pick me. I’ve wanted to journey to Alaska for the longest time. One of my dreams is to teach in the no-roads area, preferably Barrow or Nome areas. The more snow, the better. :)

Hotel In Orlando

nice post i read your post regularly. thanks for the share information.

I noticed it said flights will be included. Are those flights from anywhere in the world or just from the US?

Anywhere in the world.

What a cool itinerary! Looks like it hits some more off the beaten track locations than your cookie-cutter 55+ Alaskan cruise.

Ha. That comment cracked me up. This itinerary is about as standard touristy as one can get. The cruise ship is the only thing lacking. This isn’t an adventure tour by any stretch of the imagination.

What a great trip!!! Alaska is amazing, the beauty of its nature is breathtaking. thanks for sharing this!

Awesome! You’re so generous–thanks for even offering this! ^_^ Best of luck with all your future travels!

Cool giveaway! I’m just starting out on my travel pursuits and can’t wait to see where I end up.

A real adventure trip! Thanks Matt … from waaaaaay down south in Africa.

Alaska is my dream, I hope hope hope!!! :)

appreciate your efforts for the brightning adventure field ,keep it up..,Thanks ..

That’s so amazing! I’ve wanted to go to Alaska for 6 years but haven’t been able to muster the finance for it since. That’s such a generous giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity to enter!

Omg, I hope I win!
This is awesome of you btw.

I haven’t been to Alaska since my dad drove us there from Ohio in my early teens. It’s time for a return trip (with a better camera). And flying sounds a little bit easier!

Great site. Too bad it asks for you date of birth. (can’t do -security) would like to participate. Must make it easier.

I don’t ask for your date of birth.

Trouble with the form here as well. I get severe virus warnings.

I’m not sure the problem. It works for me whenever I try.

yeah, just tried to enter and got 403 Forbidden…

I would love to enter but too bad I don’t have a Facebook anymore…

The prize is for one person…how much does it cost to bring someone along?

It costs the price of the tour to bring someone along.
