Carnival of Blogs #19

This week I’m in Ko Phi Phi, Thailand getting myself tan. I can’t go back home pasty white. I need to at least sort of look like I’ve been living in the tropics. Plus I need to make up for last week’s devastating trip to Ko Samet Thailand where it rained everyday. With the weekend upon us and with friend’s to entertain, I’ll be doing other things than blogging. But if you need something to read, check all of this out:

Nora Dunn wrote a great article about how to travel the world on 14,000 dollars. It’s become something of a viral hit and is a must read!

Figure out what sort of adventurer you are with tripbase. It’s a funny survey too.

Anil at Fox Nomad has some tips for writing if you haven’t traveled in a long time.

IbackpackCanada has a great like of 10 things to do in the canadian rockies.

Got one day to spend in London? Over at A Singaporean in London, he has the best way to spend one day in London.

Corbett from Free Pursuits and Location Independent are dong a survey about digital nomads. Head on over and help them out!

Also, spend some time checking out these interesting blogs:

The Brooklyn Nomad- This is a good website for people looking for travel news, information, and flight deals.

Travels with Sandy- A travel blog by…Sandy.

Happy Hotelier- All the best hotel information from the world’s best hotel owner.

Brooke vs the World- Brooke has been going against the world for awhile. She’s an eternal nomad like myself currently residing in Sydney. At least, until she gets the bug again.

Couch 2 Globe- A couple who got off the couch and went to see the globe. They are currently in Peru.

My ebook on traveling blogging has had good reviews lately. Matador travel wrote a review as did Carrie from My Several Worlds. Louise from Travel and the World has a long and detailed summary of the Travel Blog Ebook. There are also a lot in my comments section. So if you are interested in making money from your travel blog, my book won’t disappoint you.

Well, that’s it for this Friday. Enjoy your weekend!

Yes Matt, you’ll want to make sure you’re nice and tan so you’ll not burn here in sunny Scotland. :-) (I’m only half joking as it is sunny and warm here at the moment.)

Enjoy the beach and meanwhile will enjoy these links.
