At the beginning of October, I ran a contest giving away a free iPod Touch to the affiliate that sold the most ebooks. I also gave away three free nights at a hostel for one lucky RSS subscriber. I learned a lot during this about running a contest. It was a good learning lesson that I will apply in the future to make them much more successful. But, without further ado, the winners are:
Nora Dunn from The Professional Hobo sold the most ebooks and is the lucky winner of a brand new iTouch.
I didn’t reach my goal of 400 books sold so no one won the secondary prizes.
The winner of the three nights at a hostel was Dan from Dan’s Adventure. Dan hasn’t yet said when or where he is going but where ever that is, it is on me!
Thanks everyone for participating. I have some good contests coming after the first of the year that will involve far more juicer prizes.

What are the lessons you have learnt about holding contests?
I guess even if your blog isn’t about this topic, the comments could be a good place for it.
Woot Woot! How very cool. Cheers!
Cheers Matt!
Congrats Nora and Dan! Woo hoo!
So how many eBooks did you get sold? I know at least one of them was mine and loved reading it. Was good info and well written man!
Thanks for the compliment. I’m glad you enjoyed the book!
Congratulations to both!
