One of my favourite spots in Italy and beautifully captured in your photo. These five magic little towns of the Cinque Terre seemingly glued onto the cliff faces in pastel colours are something to behold and somehow a little different from the traditional old Italy. Sorry to be advertorial but I write a recent blog entry on The CInque Terre (if anyone is interested) at http://travel-wonders.blogspot.com/2008/05/hiking-confection-villages-cinque-terre.html.

Keep up the inspiring travel photographs.

Ack! The Cinque Terre is one of my favourite places on earth. We are going to Florence next week… this photo makes me think we should make a day trip to Vernazza. Thanks for the weekly photos.

I read about your visit with Heather. Cool.

I’m back in BCN now. Ahhhhhhh! (Sigh of relief.)

Sorry, I am late to comment here.
Have you been to Burano in Italy ? It has very similar houses… similarly coloured and look like match boxes on top of one another.

Got something to say?
