I would like to know how many teachers overseas are over 50?
I am from the USA - have a teaching license and BS in Education. Ideally an international school would be the best - but those jobs are extremely competitive to get - just as competitive as finding a teaching job in the states (there is NO teacher shortage). I am looking for good pay and I want some vacation time too - to travel. Where is the best place to look?

@Lucy:

You should be able to find work. Try some international school job fairs- My friends tell them there is a lot of demand for experienced teachers. ISS can help.

Moreover, Korea is a great place to earn a lot of money with a lot of vacation time but the work isn’t always great.

If you are an experienced teacher, the language schools aren’t the best place to go work. Try the international schools or government schools (though the pay is not excellent).
